Major League Baseball post 2- NL

The National League has been questionable all year. With the red hot Cardinals, the Chicago Cubs, and the Pittsburgh Pirates all coming out of the National League Central division, this will no doubt be a tight race for everyone. With the Mets clinching the NL East to the LA Dodgers making their way into the dance with the best record in the NL West. All teams are striving for one goal, one dream, it'll be an exciting ride.
Lets start this off with the best team in the MLB, the St. Louis Cardinals. The team that is in the toughest division of the whole baseball world has came out with the best record in all of baseball- 100-62. They are the only team that has won 100 games in the regular season. The Cardinals are on a three game losing streak entering the post season. Momentum always plays a big role when it comes to the post season, it'll be interesting to see how they turn out. The Cardinals will play the winner of the NL Wild Card Series. Another team who seems to just keep winning are the LA Dodgers.
The Dodgers have made there way into the big dance with an impressive 8 games ahead of the next team in the NL West. The Dodgers have what seems like the two very impressive pitchers in the league. If there was such a thing as having two aces on a team Zack Greinke and Clayton Kershaw would be them. With Greinke having an earned run average of 2.13 and Kershaw having an even lower ERA of 1.66. If both pitchers pitch in a best of 5 games series there is a good chance that both pitchers will take a W and then the series is locked down for the Dodgers. As always defense wins championships, and they will if those two keep it up. The final team that has clinched there way into the playoffs- the New York Mets.
It's always a good day at Citi Field when the big apple rises from a home run. The Mets have got into the playoffs with 7 games ahead of the next team. The Mets have a somewhat mediocre record of 90-72 which is just okay when it comes to being in the playoffs. They need to play the LA Dodgers in the first series of the playoffs, which will be tough for the Mets to get through.
The Wild Card series for the National League starts Wednesday the 7th. It is a fight between the Chitown Cubs and the Pittsburgh Pirates. Both teams have similar records Pirates have 98-64 record and the Cubs have a 97-65 record. But the biggest difference between the two is the streak they having coming into the Wild Card game, the Cubs have an 8 game winning streak and the Pirates have a 1 game win streak. The momentum could be pivotal in the race for the pennant. The winner of the Wild Card will go on to play the St. Louis Cardinals.
My predictions for the whole World Series is the Blue Jays and Cardinals in the Championship and then Toronto bringing it home.

Cardinals are headed for a 3rd straight National League champs.
